Electrical Technician


The role holder is responsible for repairing electrical systems in company vehicles. The role holder is also responsible for installing, maintaining, identifying faults and repairing electrical wiring and computer based equipment in vehicles.

·Determines malfunction of electrical system in vehicles
·Performs all electrical repairs on vehicles in a timely manner
·Installs electrical equipment such as gauges, lighting, alternators and starter motors and batteries in vehicles and equipment
·Undertakes required electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment in vehicles
·Repairs or replaces defective electrical systems such as lighting, air-conditioning and safety control systems
·Tests instruments and electrical systems to make sure vehicles are running at peak performance  
·Keeps section equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns and  maintaining supplies
·Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service requirements and parts options
·Keeps supplies ready by placing timely orders, verifying receipts and stocking inventory to meet the regular demand Reports maintenance issues to the Foreman - Automobile Maintenance
·Develops and maintains all required reports
·Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor
·Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification
·Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Facilities Management Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations


High School Certification preferably with applicable Technical certification (e.g. trade certificate) in Automobile, Mechanics or Technics

- More than 6 years of relevant experience in a similar industry and/or position
