KAHRAMAA Celebrates WWD and GCC Water Week, and Earth Hour

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” marks, through the National program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency “Tarsheed” the World Water Day (WWD) on 22nd March, GCC Water Week from 22 – 25 March, and Earth Hour on 25th March. The events will take place at KAHRAMAA Awareness Park. The morning shift from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on next Wednesday and Thursday will be for school students.
The World Water Day coincides with GCC Conservation Week starting as of 22nd of March. It aims to mark the importance of conservation to save resources. The State of Qatar celebrates GCC Conservation Week by holding various activities to promote and deeply root the culture of conservation. The theme of WWD 2017 is wastewater. Events will shed light on “why west water?”. We need to reduce and reuse it. Moreover, we need to reduce pollution resulted from wastewater to protect the environment and water resources.
KAHRAMAA endeavors to achieve its mission of “Providing High Quality and Sustainable Electricity and Water for Better Living in Qatar”. It aims to increase social advocacy and environmental compliance. It applies a comprehensive strategy to achieve an integrated and sustainable management for Qatar water resources within the increasing environmental challenges.
KAHRAMAA’s Tarsheed organizes various activities on these events to increase the awareness of water conservation. This includes several activities for children including conservation techniques and a play.
Celebrations will end with Earth Hour on 25th March. KAHRAMAA, through Tarsheed, supports this global initiative where millions of people around the world switch off unnecessary light from 8:30 – 9:30 pm.
KAHRAMAA invites different organizations to take part in earth hour as a contribution to environment protection. It is a common responsibility to keep resources for the coming generations.

​يعمل مركز اتصالات كهرماء لتزويدك بمعلومات عامة تتعلق بدفع فواتيرك، والتوصيلات الجديدة والحالية، ويعمل المركز على مدار الساعة للاستجابة لطوارئ الكهرباء والمياه. يمكنك الإبلاغ عن أي مشكلة أو عارض و تتبع إجراءات الاستجابة.
يطبق  مركز الاتصال 991 نظام نظام الرد التفاعلي (IVR)، ليساعدك على تقليل وقت الإنتظار على الهاتف والتحدث مع مشغل البدالة. ويجب أن يكون رقم الكهرباء والمياه في المتناول ليمكنك استخدامه أثناء الاتصال. ويعمل موظفو خدمات المشتركين في خدمتكم خلال ساعات الدوام من السبت إلى الخميس من كل أسبوع.
