KAHRAMAA in Full Readiness for Holy Month of Ramadan


Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” has completed its technical and administrative preparations for transmission and distribution electricity networks, operational water, water pumping and tanks filling stations to ensure services’ continuity for customers during holy month of Ramadan as well as to achieve desired objectives and standards according to the adopted plans of providing  electricity and water with high quality. 

Electricity Networks Affairs has completed all maintenance works for main transmission stations, substations, feeding stations, and control centers. Electricity network Affairs has provided many maintenance workshops, promoting and supporting continuity of electric current without interruption during peak hours; especially in strategic sites and some important constructions in the State such as mosques. It also ready to face any expected increase of electrical loads due to the increasing demand for electricity via preparing all technical teams around clock to take actions and deal with damages in short time to reduce service interruption quickly and professionally.   

For Water Networks Affairs, it has completed all maintenance works related to stations of  pumping water and tankers as well as transmission and distribution water networks. It also worked on preserving the highest levels of strategic water before summer season, where the Control Center “SCADA” works on monitoring network continuously to provide water throughout the holy month. In addition, it prepares all technical teams of water emergency to face any demand in the State around clock.    

In occasion of Ramadan Mubarak, KAHRAMAA announces that the tanker filling stations will provide customers with water according to the following schedule:

Note that working hours on Fridays, morning shift will be from 06:00 am to 11:00 am; while the afternoon shift will be from 12:30 pm to 05:30 pm.   

In the occasion of holy month of Ramadan, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” extends its best congratulations and blessings to all customers and it hopes from all customers to abide by all KAHRAMAA technical requirements by installing a ground tank beside water reader to meet customer needs for 48 hours. It also asks all customers to follow conservation habits while consuming electricity and water by reducing wasting and raising awareness of using water and electrical power. Call Center 991

​Our KAHRAMAA call center is available to assist you with general information concerning your bill payments, new and current connections. It is a 24 hours electricity and water emergency and response center; you can report your problem or concern and follow up the progress of the response.
The 991 call center uses an auto-response system to help you minimize queuing time on the phone and speak to a call center agent. You must have your electricity and water number ready to use this service.

Call 991, KHARAMAA's 24/7 Electricity and Water Emergency and Incident help line; the Call Center opens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

​يعمل مركز اتصالات كهرماء لتزويدك بمعلومات عامة تتعلق بدفع فواتيرك، والتوصيلات الجديدة والحالية، ويعمل المركز على مدار الساعة للاستجابة لطوارئ الكهرباء والمياه. يمكنك الإبلاغ عن أي مشكلة أو عارض و تتبع إجراءات الاستجابة.
يطبق  مركز الاتصال 991 نظام نظام الرد التفاعلي (IVR)، ليساعدك على تقليل وقت الإنتظار على الهاتف والتحدث مع مشغل البدالة. ويجب أن يكون رقم الكهرباء والمياه في المتناول ليمكنك استخدامه أثناء الاتصال. ويعمل موظفو خدمات المشتركين في خدمتكم خلال ساعات الدوام من السبت إلى الخميس من كل أسبوع.
