KAHRAMAA won best scientific research prize for the paper it presented to GCC Cigre 14th seminar held in Kuwait during the period from 1-2 December 2004.
KAHRAMAA paper titled "Operational Problems & Performance of Transmission Overhead Lines in Qatar“ was prepared by Eng. Essa Hilal Al Kuwari, Director of Electricity Networks Affairs (ENA), Eng. Ali Jassim Al Najjar, Manager of Transmission Department and Eng. Chittranjan Bhatnagar, Senior Engineer of Transmission Overhead Lines.
GCC Cigre is a regional committee affiliated to International Council on Large Electric Systems and was established in 1985 under the umbrella of GCC General Secretariat.
