1- Intermediate education graduate program
KAHRAMAA pays great concern to intermediate / technical institute graduates. It provides special training programs for them before joining work. There are various jobs for them to join.
2- Secondary graduate program
KAHRAMAA is concerned in attracting secondary male and female graduates. We have developed special administrative and technical programs for them to assume different administrative and technical jobs. Most training programs include basic information along with practical training at work sites in a way achieves the optimal qualification for the target job.
Through this program, secondary graduate Qataris can submit an employment application attached with the required documents. Nominees experience written tests and interviews where they get acquainted with the work environment, jobs available for secondary graduates and the expected education path to choose the job suits their education and skills.
3- Diploma, university and postgraduate programs
KAHRAMAA has university scholarship programs meant to activate Qatari cadre attraction programs. They are provided for university graduates to precede their education. These programs are meant to promote Qatari cadres attraction to involve in the urban development of their country and to meet the work needs in the Corporation. KAHRAMAA seeks to develop cadres able to assume certain technical and administrative responsibilities as per the role and nature of the Corporation. KAHRAMAA has launched several university and postgraduate programs for secondary graduates, be them new graduates or KAHRAMAA employees, to join universities or higher institutes. They are meant to develop their academic and occupational level. In addition, KAHRAMAA provides appropriate atmosphere until their graduation to join work and receive training on all job requirements.
KAHRAMAA has currently three post secondary education levels for senior and junior staff who meet the conditions. These programs have achieved success due to the firm relation KAHRAMAA established with local and international universities. Programs include:
a- Diploma scholarship
KAHRAMAA provides the opportunity for its staff to study diploma in Business, Security, Administration, and Engineering. Diploma is an educational qualification higher than secondary certificate. It is granted by approved educational corporations and institutes. Diploma holders can proceed with their education until achieving university degree in case they prove excellence conditions approved by KAHRAMAA.
Diploma is the first level of secondary graduate development. KAHRAMAA provides secondary graduate staff the opportunity to study for two or three years in College of North Atlantic Qatar or abroad as applicable. There are now 14 KAHRAMAA employees studying diploma in Business, Administration, Security, and Engineering.
b- University scholarship program
KAHRAMAA believes that education and training are the key ways to achieve Qatarization; the policy we pursue, through the provision of scholarship opportunities for our new recruits in different specifications serving KAHRAMAA. We also provide advanced training courses in administrative and technical skills to pave the way for KAHRAMAA employees to assume higher positions and occupy posts filled by non-Qataris as per Qatarization policy and succession plan.
The second level of education programs launched through scholarships for excellent students to achieve their university degrees from universities inside and outside Qatar, in Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering, Computer, Communication, and Law. KAHRAMAA has started this program in 2007 where 90 students are studying for university degrees; 41 of them are in universities abroad.
c- Postgraduate scholarships (Master degree)
It is the third level of KAHRAMAA education program. KAHRAMAA provides scholarships for its employees to study their master in different specifications as per their current positions so as to assume higher positions and occupy posts filled by non-Qataris as per Qatarization policy and succession plan.
10 senior staff employees of this program have been graduated from universities inside and outside Qatar, in Business Administration and Project Management. In 2010, other 3 employees will be graduated, 2 of them will achieve master in Business Administration and the third in Water Quality Management.
