Within the coordination and cooperation between Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” and BARWA Real Estate, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today 1/2/2012 between the two parties for the provision of Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) at BARWA projects. The MOU was signed by KAHRAMAA President H.E. Eng. Essa hilal Al-Kuwari and BARWA CEO Eng. Abdulla Abdulaziz Al-Subaie. The signing ceremony was attended by a number of top officials from both parties.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Eng. Al-Kuwari welcomed the attendance stressing KAHRAMAA commitment to achieve cooperation and coordination with BARWA and different State authorities for the provision of high quality electricity and water services. It is meant for the development of State economic sectors. KAHRAMAA President hailed the corporate cooperation between the State leading corporations.

It is worth to mention that the MoU signing is the outcome of coordination meetings between KAHRAMAA and BARWA where the later expressed its interest in installing an automatic meter reading system in its real estate projects. KAHRAMAA is now in the process of implementing a project for remote meter reading all over the State as per the highest standards and approved specifications. Upon completion, it will be one of the latest systems in the world.
