Core Responsibilities:

• Performs maintenance, troubleshooting and pre-summer checks of all DCS & instrumentation systems in order to ensure proper functioning of all equipment
• Coordinates with relevant stakeholders to ensure availability of all safety documents pertaining to instrumentation before the start of any maintenance related job
• Liaises with Supervisor to prepare and arrange work groups for various activities
• Coordinates with Senior Engineer for effective and efficient allocation of resources in accordance with prioritization of instrumentation work
• Ensures all requisite criteria has been fulfilled prior to the start of DCS & condition instrumentation activities as required by established guidelines
• Supervises all the DCS & condition monitoring and testing work after receiving safety documents to ensure compliance to safety guidelines
• Supervises the execution of all DCS & condition instrumentation activities to ensure compliance to established schedule and workflow guidelines
• Conducts periodic inspection in coordination with Supervisor to identify any defects in the instrumentation equipment and liaises with requisite team for corrective action
• Ensures maintenance of accurate and updated records of equipment condition and related history
• Supervises the use and operation of company equipment to ensure adherence to established guidelines
• Develops a monthly servicing / repair of all equipment to ensure proper functioning and availability of equipment at all times
• Liaises with contractors to monitor their performance and ensures adherence to established terms of contract and quality standards
• Develops all relevant reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual etc.) for analysis on progress of instrumentation and fiscal monitoring activities against established schedule
• Supports Senior Engineer in Spare parts Management
• Performs all Instrumentation system activities
• Performs any other activity assigned by the Senior Engineer as and when required
• Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certification.
• Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
  
  Self-Management Responsibilities:

• Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
• Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended
• Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth
