​The role holder is responsible to execute Electro mechanical design projects for all Kahramaa’s water stations and networks and ensure safety operations of all mechanical and associated equipment. The role holder is also responsible to implement all plans related to preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment in Kahramaa’s water stations and networks, in compliance with Kahramaa’s Code of Practice.

Core Responsibilities:

• Performs field work to execute strategies and plans aimed at planned, preventive and corrective maintenance of all mechanical and associated equipment in Kahramaa's water stations and networks
• Participates in new projects or upgrading works of mechanical equipment in different Kahramaa's water networks, in order to ensure effective maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Assist in Design of minimize breakdown time of mechanical equipment
• Assists Engineer Electro–Mechanical in coordinating resources and inventories for emergencies, in order to take immediate corrective action, thereby minimizing system down-time  
• Assists Supervisor–in identifying and reporting mechanical operating variances outside the design limits and discussing operational problems and optimizations with concerned departments
• Assists supervisor in preparing scope for outsourcing work.
• Verifies and updates O& M Manuals and As-Built drawings.
• Assists supervisor in testing and commissioning of all mechanical equipment's installed inside the Kahramaa's water stations and networks.
• Ability to utilize personal computer applications to include MS Software.
• Safety -Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safety regulations related to the operation of water pump stations, well systems, and associated pipelines.
• Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certification
• Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
  
  Self Management Responsibilites:
• Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
• Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the reporting manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended
