Description

The role holder is responsible for managing the general maintenance work for all admin buildings and WNA installations and facilities within Kahramaa. ·Assists in the preparation and evaluation of tender documentation of general maintenance works to be done as well as issues requisitions and tendering of related materials for each project related to such maintenance · Prepares maintenance programmes (Monthly/Yearly), and issues needful regarding tenders/services orders ·Plans, prepares, controls & coordinates senior foremen and inspectors work programmes ·Supervises general maintenance works of admin buildings and water network buildings and facilities ·Supervises work executions on such facilities ·Carries out joint measurements of executed/completed works with concerned contractor ·Prepares estimated quantities of requested works/tenders ·Arranges site/office meetings with concerned contractors personnel & its unit staff ·Compiles daily/weekly/monthly reports ·Carries out related administration/office works related to ongoing/current contracts ·Performs other related duties upon request by Head of Section ·Participates in preparing the technical report on general maintenance and recommends remedial alternatives/ improvement areas to the management to initiate better maintenance of the buildings and facilities ·Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls all general maintenance activities of Kahramaa’s Admin Buildings and WNA installations in accordance with Kahramaa’s regulations, policies and procedures · Supervises subordinates, reviews their programmes and evaluate technical issues and ensures appropriate corrective action is achieved within stipulated time ·Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification ·Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Facilities Management Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations ... less
